Hi, thank you for responding. Not a stupid question at all. I should've mentioned my Sigil version. I thought that might be the case when I first noticed trouble so i downloaded the latest for Mac version 0.2.4. but it's performs the same.
Thank you for the link to the bug tracker. If it turns out to be something that's not a mistake on my part I'll submit there.
