Hi folks!
I am having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi on the Kobo Touch that I purchased a few hours ago.

I tried to connect to my phone's hotspot in the following way.
#1 WEP with 10 digit password
#2 Open network

The KT would see the networks but when I tried to connect, it would say incorrect login!
Even for the open network! What can be incorrect about login into an open network.

I tried manually inserting the SSID and the password (for the WEP one) & and manually adding the SSID of the open one. I get incorrect login each time. Even for the open one.

Will a factory reset help? I am using the latest firmware 1.9.6 (r30320). Is there a problem with the firmware?

My iPod Touch and the laptop has no problems connecting to both the networks.
