Kobo’s App for Android Available on Amazon’s Appstore

Kobo has always developed apps for Android. We are proud supporters of the platform, and have had great success with our app so far.

But, recently, Kobo was able to go a step further.

On March 14, 2011, Kobo sent our Android app for approval from the Amazon app store. On March 17th, Kobo’s app passed with flying colours, and we couldn’t be more pleased. So, when the Android app store opened on Amazon.com on March 23rd, we were there!

You can now find the Kobo Android app along with the Kobo eReader and all our accessories on Amazon.com.

Since then, we have received a lot of attention regarding this news from those who cover eBook industry news and were excited to see that we’ve added some new features – many that had come to us as customer requests.
