Not a book but the movie title "Requiem for a Dream" stuck with me for the longest time. Not sure why, it's not overly poetic and it sounds a bit broken up but it has an abstract sort of substance. Paradoxes are appealing.

On a less serious note, "The nymphos of Rocky Flats" has to be a heavy weight contender.
