I'm in the process of amending the 'Notes' section of the first post with a few of the recurring FAQs, and will also probably edit the fallback image to be a bit less stark than a scary blank screen

. (Meaning: expect a cosmetic update fairly soon).

EDIT: And, yep, you can clear the currently processed covers & pinfo overlay from the 'ScreenSavers Tools' menu (last item of the ScreenSavers menu).
