I think if one wants to spend $400 on a tablet, they're probably not considering the Vox or the Kindle Fire. The Kindle Fire isn't competing with any tablets. The current NOOKcolor isn't even competition. It's catering to those who want the Amazon ecosystem. So, I doubt the Samsung is going to lower the price because of the Fire. The Fire's not an open Android device. Apples and oranges.
