Ind, Allison: Allied Intelligence Bureau, v1, 09 March 2009
The story of the Allied Intelligence Bureau serving MacArthur's headquarters in Australia in World War II. The author was the #2 man in the bureau and tells of the daring exploits of those who stayed behind in countries occupied by the Japanese invasion of Southeast Asia in World War II. It mentions in passing Reg Evans, one of the Australian Coast Watchers in the Solomons who figured in rescue of John F. Kennedy, later president of the US, during World War II. (Regrettably that story, PT109, remains in copyright).
U. S. Army Colonel Ind was born in 1903 and no death date is shown for him. So this 1958 book remains in copyright except in the US where copyright was not renewed.
