Hmmm. Maybe this is an attempt by Apple to restore Hong Kong to the British Empire! As Apple Maps is improved, all changes to Hong Kong since 1997 will be progressively (regressively?) erased. Soon you will find yourselves living under a capitalistic market system unfettered by any subsurvience to political ideology. Of course, you will no longer have access to Apple Maps once you are restored to your 1997 OS (OS 7, I believe) but I am sure you will be able to find a Mac Classic somewhere to reorient yourselves.
