I solved this by attaching a thin string to the thicker stylus which allows me to use the small stylus as a hook to hold the bigger one

Unfortunately: yes - afaik you can actually get the information about pressed stylus buttons (or pressure levels for that matter), but no application uses it (, yet?
)
