Are you sure the Sony supports SDHC at all? There are 4 Gig cards that are not SDHC and I think these are the ones that work partially in the Sony. Having SDHC implies a different controller and the smallest SDHC card is currently 4Gig. Amazon Kindle definitely supports SDHC.
