I have noticed that when I plug it into my computer it only reports as a 100mA device, so if it is drawing more power than that the people at Kobo need to correct this since mis-reporting USB devices are a very bad idea, but I also suspect that there is a power profile under which it only draws 100mA, and when using that profile it can take up to 12 hours to charge.

I haven't tried charging for 12 hours. How do you determine what mA my USB port on my laptop is providing? Can the unit be overcharged?
