Date format

Hello,
In my little corner of the English speaking world, we generally write dates in the format DD/MM/YYYY or DD/MM/YY.
The Sony Reader, of course, defaults to that MM/DD/YYYY format that Americans love so. However, I find this somewhat confusing 353 days of the non-leap year.
Is there a simple way to force the PRS-500 to display dates in the form DD/MM/YYYY?
