I e-mailed iRex today because the statement they have had about 'DRM announcement soon' was removed from the web site. Will post when I receive my response. I'm just hoping it was a mistake when they did the site update.

Response dated the 26th:

Dear customer,

Thank you for your interest in our solutions for electronic reading.
Because of the large number of reactions, it takes some time to answer
all information requests.
We do apologies for this late reaction.

Unfortunatly we can not give more information at this time, but we
expect that more information will be announced in the coming weeks.
