For whom? Certainly not for you or me, or anyone else in Europe, the United States, Australia, and pretty much anyplace else except Canada. Nice if you're Canadian, but of very little practical relevence for the rest of us.
Might I suggest that a list of authors who died in 1938 might be of more widespread interest? They will be the ones who will enter the public domain for the majority of us next week (but not, alas, in the US).
