Thanks for the hint, Vlad. The whole Calibre program was corrupt, I have reinstalled it completely and I am uploading everything afresh to the server, program, ebooks and all. This is going to take a while.
BTW: I use Calibre portable and have the program in the cloud directory as well, is anybody else doing this?
