I have a piece of artwork (png) with transparency in it.

It displays great in epub iOS apps. However, in my Kindle iOS app (iPad) the transparent parts display as white (I read on blue background).

Is this an issue with the mobi format or with the Kindle app?

It seems to me this would be more likely an issue with the app.
