Smartpost is what free shipping users get. I've stop ordering with free shipping because of it. Fedex picks up the package then gives it over to USPS to deliver. Some post office only deliver during a certain times of the week for this service. They just don't have the manpower to unload the pallet so it just sits there. We had some DVDs get misrouted that way. It's a horrible service but I only had small problems but many others have horror stories to tell. UPS Basic can be just as bad.
