Kindle one manga problem - starts on wrong page (not order related)

Greetings,

I have a first gen Kindle and have had a recurring issue with it recently. What happens is I run a manga volume through mangle (in proper order) and most manga start on the correct page when viewed on the kindle. However some volumes I load have started on the wrong pages, and saves to the manga_save folder starting at pages 100 or higher. I've checked when created the file specifies starting at page 0000.gif and usually does . . . but this issue has become annoying to say the least. Once I fix the manga_save file to specify 0000.gif again it usually fixes the issue, but it's a pretty big pain.

Is there a solution to this, or is it a known problem? If it is a known problem that can't be fixed besides manually fixing it like I'm currently doing, what reader should I replace it with that is best suited for manga viewing (same screen size preferably, DX etc. costs too much).

Thanks for your help/advice in advance
