Don't uninstall the device (hardware) jailbreak. Install the kindlet (software) jailbreak, which is something totally different. Most people seem to be confused by this odd naming clash, which is why ixtab opened a discussion (
here) a mere 5 days ago to rename it -- as you can see, they haven't done so yet.
Just think of it as the MobileRead Kindlet Kit (the tentative new name) versus the *actual* jailbreak.
