If everything is working with the library and you are able to connect to the Sony Story and view your account, etc. and the problem is only happening when you connect your Reader, then it's more likely a USB issue or Operating System issue than the Library software.

Thanks. Good ideas. One issue I have is that I can't turn off sync without connecting the Reader (unless I am missing a setting). The Sync menu only appears when I connect the hardware device.
Your point was good. Software works fine without hardware attached. Need to trouble shoot the USB transfer issues I guess.
