It did the trick. I have checked it with 2 files sent to kindle. They do end up in ebook folder. And placed the files where you told me (previously you said to place them in kindle app folder and i thought it meant placing them in kindle.app folder).
Xray works now. In my ipad i access it by single tap on page -> And it is present on top right (3rd button from right besides the refresh and the View Options buttons). Dunno if it is working okay, in all terms and pages things, the description is a single line followed by - Wikipedia. Eg.
