DJVU files on Android with CC Companion

I have Calibre 0.9.7 on a Windows 7, connecting with Calibre Companion 2.5.1 to a Nexus 7 Android V4.2.

If I connect with CC as a wireless device, when I transfer files, I am limited to file types such EPUB, MOBI, AZW3 and PDF. This seems to work fine (although I have only tried EPUB & PDF).

I have many DJVU files in Calibre on my PC (mainly image rather than text so wont convert happily). I am trying to access DJVU files on my Nexus. Using the CC content server I can see the DJVU files, and display metadata, but the “Read” option is greyed out.

I have a DJVU reader on my Nexus. Is there any reason why the file type is not offered (I dont think that it is a DRM issue) - is it a configuartion option ? Other than manually transferring via a USB cable (i.e. outside of CC), is there any other option ?
