If you buy books like the ones from the Sony store you mention, they always come with digital rights management (DRM), as far as I know. From what I've read and experienced, Calibre will not convert DRM ebooks. I think you should just copy the downloaded epub files from your PC to your Nook, using Windows Explorer.
