I'd rather not have any government involved in anything that's not a government function. By definition, the flow of ideas is most definitely
not a government function. Setting aside First Amendment implications for the moment, governments tend to make
everything much more expensive when they get involved than it would otherwise be.
I'd far rather see someone like Google (Their motto is "Don't be (too) evil" after all! You don't get that kind of a promise from a
government!) succeed in this sort of thing.
