I think the article is misinformed. The Voyage and the PW2 both use the eInk Carta screen; the fact that the Voyage (and the new PW3) use the 300dpi version of the screen, compared to the 212dpi of the PW2, doesn't affect the contrast. Comparing my Voyage and PW2, the text is distinctly crisper and sharper on the Voyage due to the increased resolution, but I see no contrast difference. Blacks are equally black, and whites are equally white, on the two devices.
