Bennet, Robert Ames: The Bowl of Baal, V1., 7 Jan 2013

The Bowl of Baal, similar in some respect to Thyra, was first published in All Around Magazine as a 4 part serial, Nov. 1916 - Feb. 1917. Robert Ames Bennet (1870-1954) published many westerns and other types of adventure novels in the early 1900s; Thyra (1901) and the current book were the only scifi books published by Bennet.

All Around Magazine only lasted from Dec. 1915 to March 1917 even though it had published a number of fantasy-adventure tales such as E. R. Burrough's Beyond Thirty.
