Bilbo, Kumabjorn and Pdurrant, you're all correct. They're all songs that are under three minutes in length, which used to be the case for most popular songs played on the radio, or squashed onto those vinyl things we put on our record players.

Bilbo is also correct regarding "Stay": it's the shortest single ever to reach the top of the American charts, at 1 minute 50 seconds.
