I've sent an email to support at Ambling, but wonder if anyone else has experienced this problem with the Pro application on their iPhone....

I've been using the Ambling Pro app on my iPhone since Feb 2013. For the last few months, I've been unable to use the feature "shake phone to restart timer."

• I have the option checked in the Sleep Timer settings.

• In the iPhone's notification center, for the Ambling Pro app, I have the alert style set to "alerts," and I have all other settings turned "on."

• Notifications View is "on" for access on lock screen in the notification center

It used to be that when the timer went off, I got an alert on the sleeping screen that I needed to shake phone to restart timer. This alert no longer pops up. It did briefly last week, when I changed the alert settings in the notification center from "banner" to "alerts" but it stopped after working just a few times. Now when the timer goes off, the screen remains blank, and I have to turn on the screen, unlock the phone, and go to the Ambling Pro app to restart the timer.

I think the problem is in the notifications, nothing appears in the notifications history. I'm not sure if there was a recent change in the Ambling Pro app or a recent change in the iOS that is keeping the Ambling Pro app from accessing the notifications.

Any ideas? I use this app almost every night when trying to fall asleep, and I really miss this functionality.
