Hello:

You are allowed to have a separate thread for book 2 - if you desire. However, if you do elect to do this, then you cannot cross-promote.

If you decide NOT to do this (keeping things exactly the way they are right now), then you cannot create a new thread later on.

Again, the decision is yours to make.
