Your profile picture is what people see if they visit your Mobileread profile page (your profile picture is a glass of Guiness).
Your avatar is the picture people see below your username when you do posts in the forum.
Are you getting them mixed up? Your profile photo and avatar can be 2 different pictures.
In your User CP, go to "Edit Avatar, not "Edit Profile Picture".
