Kind of like home / car policies. Geesh, they are being offered a refund, a second similar cruise for free, $500 cash, and the hotel/food/transportation back to their starting point. If anything, the lawyers will be the ones to make money.

If they can prove negligence, all the fine print goes out the window, and the big money starts to flow. Of course, usually the biggest money will somehow get to the lawyers rather than these poor victims of luxury cruises. I believe the law firm of 'Dewy, Cheetem, & Howe' are going to represent a class action suit. They've been successful at suing restaurants for giving too much pate de foie gras in a serving and causing the diner to get clogged arteries... It can just be SO trying being rich.
