Some companies get so hung up on competition, on hurting the "enemy", they forget that job one is making money to stay in business.
It doesn't help consumers if a company drives itself over a cliff in profitless competition.
It's good to have competition now but it wouod be better to still have it three-five years down the road.

i agree with you, i think thats why Amazon waited untill they had everything before they launched an android device. instead of every other manufacturer releasing a device with little support or ecosystem.
Amazon could have followed the pack and release an android 2 years ago, but instead they built an ecosystem with one of the largest libraries in the world, one of the largest video libraries int he world, a very large and robust app market that no other brand besides apple and google can match
