I checked the shipping times. Using the Express option, yesterday the expected arrival date was 1/8-1/18. Today it is 1/9-1/19. I wouldn't go whipping out the credit card just yet.
(There is also the matter of service plans. Who would you rather deal with when things go horribly wrong? Best Buy or Sony?)
