I agree with you that it would not be "easy". Syncing is the holy grail of modern web app development. I just don't think it would be as hard as other apps where things change
all the time. Even Apple and Google struggle with it on apps like that (thinking about calendar sync in gCal and iCal)
It's an interesting problem though, I just have to not get distracted by it.
