In some ways I agree, I don't want to have to tweak my ereader either, but for me it is the reason for changing my PW1 for the new Kobo Aura. Just to get basic functions such as collections imported from Calibre, hyphenation and to add my own fonts, I had to jailbreak and patch the PW whereas the Kobo works straight out of the box.
