I do of course take along a charger for my phone - my wish is not to have to worry about my Kindle running out of power, not to eliminate all chargers

For me, 15h just isn't enough for a dedicated reader. It puts it into the "need to recharge it every couple of days" category, like my iPad. I'd rather have a slightly heavier device with double the battery life. Of course, though, I appreciate that everyone's needs differ.
