Itunes wants me to restore my ipod. I want to get the new books from Stanza to Calbre first. Itunes will not read my ipod.

I did plug my ipod in to my computer and started Calibre but can't figure out how to get the books from the ipod to Calibre.

Can anyone tell me how this is done?
