1- Are you sure the books are opening in FBreader and not ADE? It they are, you should set a settings Icon in the lower right hand corner. Once you get there it's all super smooth.

2- You say the page turn buttons are stiff; I assume you're using the Wing button for that? You can reassign the functions to the rocker ring. Check the button mappings in the main setup.

3- There are plenty of english dictionaries available for download. Check the dictionary threads here.

4- ebook pricing? Depends on where your tastes lie and where you live. There are quite a few places that sell ebooks at sub-paperback prices (some without DRM) depending on the genre. If you're into SF and/or fantasy a trip to Baen.com might help. (Also the FifthImperium web site. Plenty of great, legally free SF there to lift the spirits of the SD card.)

5- Fonts? I favor Georgia. Look in your Windows PC Fonts folder. Lots of goodies there. Some folks like Google's Droid font.
