Oh the irony.
Back in 2000/2001 timeframe, Cisco had production-quality Sip working on the 200Mhz iPAQ handheld (running Linux of course) with full voice quality. That era iPAQ didn't even have a proper chipset to really take advantage of it (as anyone who owned one knows, when playing mp3 or doing heavy networking, the LCD would flicker badly because the CPU wasn't tasking properly).
Now here we are, 4 years later, and Microsoft has
de-evolved to pre-2001 timeframes?
