Hi
Like me. the device hasn´t fallen, no water has gotten.
the device was left on hold and when he came back to take did not work.
It has not scratches, it is impossible is my fault. It has always been in a case
I have the feeling that they turn away the problem
the screen is broken but no for my fault.
The device has 2 ˝ months. SERVICE TECHNICIAN answers: "Unfortunately what we can see on the picture is a broken E Ink screen. And as a psychical damage it is not covered by warranty. You need to apply for payable service of exchanging the screen (135+23%VAT)
Why do we see that? An E Ink screen is build with small microcapsules that go one next to each (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_Ink).
Any irregularity shows that the screen is broken.
On the outside surface it is not visible as it is secured so that falling asleep while reading would not hurt someone's face. But if you open the device from inside you will see that the screen is broken and breaks correspond with the irregular lines on the screen that you see now.
You can also google out some more broken screens by pasting "broken e-ink screen" into google pictures.
Sorry for my poor english
