John C. Calhoun was the other veep to resign. It had something to do with Southern issues, he was a patriotic South Carolinian and resigned on principle. Maybe it will come to me.
Along those lines, John Tyler was a vp (also a president) and he was elected to the Confederate Senate. I'll pick Calhoun as the other confederate vp.
