A new beta is up. It address all of the issues noted in the previous thread.

Known Issues:

MAC OS X < 10.8 won't start - older versions may not be supported for 0.6.0 - determining how much they are needed
Split does not convert #id hrefs to full path - so links may break on split: to workaround just use Find&Replace to turn href="# into href="../Text/Mypage.html#
Split does not recognize sigilChapterBreak - only sigil_split_marker - for Split at Markers, so just use sigil_split_marker if you are typing the name manually
