There's also yellow to mention. While green is a primary color for light, yellow is a primary color for pigment. Plus, although people know what the color pink looks like, it's not part of the spectrum. Instead, we know it when we see it.

Some colors seem to work better than others, especially blue. As an example, the following song titles don't feel the same when you change the blue to another color:

  • Green Velvet
  • Mr. Orange
  • Lavender Onions
