IMO, browsing on the Kindle is not for playing WoW, but for downloading from sites like your personal Calibre library, or mobileread, or manybooks, or feedbooks (did I miss any?)
I maintain my library using my laptop. The library is synced (using Dropbox) to my iMac, which is always on and, therefore, much more useful as a Calibre server than the laptop.

I've found port forwarding software but I don't want to spend $30 on it. I've searched the help files for my router and various places on Google but I can't seem to get it right.
I also want to find a solution that doesn't require my desktop to be on all of the time (though it usually is
).
Is there a port forwarding for dummies site I can try?
