Should have nominated Harry Potter. It's got ghosts, giants, giant spiders, evil wizards, and other scary stuff. But you are correct,
Storm Front is weak for being scary. It's a good book as far as fantasy going. But as horror, it's a flat out bust.
I voted for
Rosemary's Baby as I think that may very well be the scariest book in the list.
