It's amazing how e-book holdings have grown - 18 months ago, Indy had ~6,000 books and it only took 4500 books to break into the top 10.

Still, the library has 2.1 million items in its catalog, so there's still a long way to go; ignoring PD books and self-published books, it seems like libraries should have at least several hundred thousand e-books before dropping back to maintenance mode, where they are focusing on new books and not backlog.
