Yeah I've got the flaky blue light too. Sometime when paging right the blue light will blink, but the page won't turn. The fact that the blue light blinks makes it clear that the click did register, but that the kobo failed to respond correctly to the instruction.
Most of the time I can turn pages without any problem, but sometimes it's temeramental.
