Kobo doesn't have the function to buy multiple books.

The small print from Kobo: Discount code is valid for $1 off up to 3 eBook purchases excluding eBooks from HarperCollins UK, Hachette, Grand Central, Warner, and Little Brown.

So you buy one book at a time - and get $1 off each one.
