Images "Negativized" on some readers

Hi all,
I just noticed that my cover image (.jpg) will show as a "negative" of itself when I put some reader apps into the "night" mode/theme. Ones I've noticed are "Blio", and "Bluefire". Others like "Nook" and "Stanza" don't. That would obviously make it a device/app peculiarity, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a workaround to prevent that??

I simply use the following:

h1.image {margin:0 auto; text-align:center}

<h1 id="cover" title="Cover" class="image"><img src="..Images/....jpg" alt="" height="98%" /></h1>

Thanks!
