Sorry if this isnt the correct sub board, I was confused on were to put this particular question.

Im confuse on if eReader and Mobi are the same format type.

I was reading about the DRM formats ( and how to convert the files over to NON drm so they can be use on different hardware ) and got the impression that they were the same and or that the program they were talking about worked on both.

Reason im confused is that I want to buy several books today at fictionwise before the sale ends, but they offer the books in several secure formats only.

Two of which are secure mobi and secure ereader ( ereader offers extra 5% rebate ) and was wondering if the program (not) mentioned above would remove the drm from the ereader format as well as mobi?

But mainly im confused on the 2 formats etc.
